Benadryl can help, 2-3 times a day. Call your vet for proper dosage and to be sure it's safe for pups.
Reply:A spoonful of corn oil in with his food will help no end with the condition of his skin and his coat. Its not an instant remedy but will keep him in good condition long term and prevent further damage xxx
Reply:my dog had an allergy and i went to the pet store and bought a tee tree soothing spray.(you can also get the wipes) It stops them scratching and calms down the irritation. Worked wonders on my dog. Good luck!!
Reply:Many times it is the food that is giving the allergy My dog had the same we switched to a lamb and rice meal and within 1 week all was cleared. To many things in just simple dog foods.
Reply:I had the same problem with my dog. Carry on with the medicine and include Sardines in his diet (An old wives tale I know) but it worked. He stopped scratching within a day. Worth a try, and won`t do him any harm...Good Luck.
Reply:you can try baby bendryl, it may help. I would also put desitin on the areas that get inflammed. My puppy has very bad allergies and will get imflammed and bite until he has pustules on his belly and legs. Desitin helps relieve the inflammation and helps everything heal a lot faster. It has been working great on my pup. He also doesn't like the smell so he tends to scratch and bite at it less which helps a lot too. It was recommended by a vet.
Reply:piriton can help allergies in dogs use the guideline for children, use a food with no additives or colourings and try and keep on a wheat and luten free diet...spinach will stop the itching so you can add some to dogs food....also try using either filltered water or bottled as the water also can cause allergies
Reply:Wash your dog in the shampoo Celcum Blue. I have a pitbull one time witha skin condition, and he had no fur on his whole back because he chewed it all off from itching. Try this shampoo. It is a dandruff shampoo, and it should work. REALLY try it. I hope the best for you and your dog.
