sensitive skin many allergies to cosmetics--what to use?
I have the most awful skin in the world-too sensitive..hives with any makeup, without makeup my skin is blotcy
What products have you used before? There may be a certain ingredient you are allergic to. First see a dermatologist to make sure there isn't anything serious going on.
I'm not sure if you have tried Mary Kay products before, but you should. My director has acne, rosacea, eczema and skin allergies and used everything her dermatologist recommended and nothing worked. She has been using Mary Kay for about 3 years and her skin in beautiful! You would never know she has those problems.
Mary Kay's products are hypo-allergenic (provokes fewer allergic reactions), non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), oil-free, fragrance-free, dermatologist tested and recommended.
If you haven't tried it before, go to www.marykay.com and contact a consultant in your area. You can try everything for free! If you purchase something and it doesn't work out for you, you can return it or exchange it for the full value - even if you've used it.
Best of luck to you!
Reply:ask your doctor and if she ain't sure just call a mary kay consultant.

Reply:See a dermatologist. They can perscribe helpful medication.
Also, I don't know how many types of makeup you've tried but there are several types of hypoalergenic makeups made specifically for very sensetive skin. Though they are much mroe expensive.
I believe Clinique has a line of hypoallergenic makeup.
But most of all see a dermatologist.
Reply:I know they make make-up for sensitive skin, so look for that. You could also go to a dermatologist and she what she suggests. They might have something that could help you.
