I think my dog has allergies but im not sure.?

Everything im looking up is telling me about food allergies, Skin irritants. but is nothing like that. She normally at night sometimes in the day has A werid snezzing noise, but it sounds like what a person would sound like if there nose was stuffed. And i always give her a baby benydly and it seems to work. Has anybody ever heard of a dog allergy like this?

If you don't know what is causing the allergies than you need to take the dog to a vet. You can give the dog Benadryl but make sure you get him the right dose because it can hurt dogs in excess. Also, I would not give it to the dog every day by any means. It could be an upper respiratory infection if he has a coughing type of thing or sounds like he has fluid in his lungs. He needs to see a vet.


How much does the dog weigh? If it below 30 pounds give 10mg. If it's 30-50 pounds give 25mg. If it's above 50 pounds give 50mg. Also, only use regular Benadryl.

the dog can have all kinds of allergies just like a human can, yes there are food and skin but there can also be things to do with the atmosphere, my Dog is allegergic to Grass esp. grass cuttings, this is not an uncommon thing and can be sorted quite easiliy.





The best thing that you can do is visit your local vet, they will point u in the coorect direction in what it actually is.


If your dog gets groomed at a proffesianal groomers you could always ask what shampoo they use or beuity products, this could also be one of the problems.
