My daughter recently started getting quite a few irritations on her skin. They vary in appearance, some are a single bloody dot while others have a scaly red appearance. None of them are raised, they are all flat. All of them itch her a lot. Most are on her abdomen but a few are on her left arm also. She has already had chickenpox...does anyone have any clue what these may be? She's in her late teens, also. A friend called it a 'systemic allergic reaction' and wikipedia says that that is an ER situation, but so far it is not affecting her respitory or any other system..just her skin. Any help is useful, please..
Daughter has allergies, developing unusual skin irritation? Hives..?
Have you tried Honey? It's awesome for allergies and tons of other ailments:

My whole family takes a spoonful of honey everyday.
Reply:Allergies are a pain.
She may be allergic to things like all dairy produce.
And should be tested for all these options first.
Reply:please take your daughter to a doctor before it gets any worse.they can do some tests and figure out whats bothering her.
Reply:I had the same exact thing extremely simmilar to that. It seems as if the red dots are under the skin right? Well, if so,I believe it is a fungus that can be gotten at swimming pools and lakes, I had it 2 days ago and I used anti fungus. It worked just fine. It went away over night. By the way that is not the first time that I have had those. P.S. If they were under the skin as I said....Like red dots under beneath your skin it might very well be what I said. Try the anti fungal Lady, I think it would help.
Reply:Being that they vary in appearance, it may or may not be Scarlett Fever. Only because my kids had it so this is why I think it may be that. Take her to the pediatricain 1st thing tomorrow morning. Scarlett fever is just a form of strep throat with hives. Good Luck.
Reply:Scarlet fever is possible but it could be that she has developed an allergy to something. I remember a kid I grew up with who's skin would dry something awful, and he would break out in hives when he drank milk or dairy. He developed this when he was around 12 yrs old, wasn't something he was born with. It is true our bodies change every 7 yrs.
Has she eaten anything different that she hasn't normally had in a long time, any type of fruit, fruit juice, ice cream or dairy anything you can think of? Usually scarlet fever other symtoms occur, no other symptoms indicate to me that this is an allergic reaction to something she ate, drank, wore, or took.
Reply:Have you looked into switching you cleaning supplies, shampoos, etc.? I work at home for a wellness company and studies have shown that there are toxins in our everyday needs. My daughter has exzema and I switch to this companies products and it has cleared up. I would love to tell you more

Reply:could be eczema my 5 yr old daughter had that the first 3 years of life and it was all over her body and some spots were red and it itched alot and some times it would turn red and start oozing pus and that means infection. but you should get her to the doctor and get it checked out. in the mean time try some aveno lotion or oatmeal lotion if she's not allergic to that kind of lotion. good luck!
