Skin colored/red bumps symptom of rabbit allergies?

I just brought a pet rabbit home from the petstore this past Sunday. About two days after I brought it home, I started noticing skin-colored bumps on my arms, legs, elbows and hands (mainly fingers). Scratching makes them red and irritated, of course, and they seem to spread when scratched.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen something like this as a symptom of allergies to a rabbit. I've heard of the usual sneezing, runny nose, watery/red eyes, etc. I don't have any of that, just this annoying itchy bumpy skin.

My dad (former medical worker) believes that this could be [mollescum contagiosum], if it's not rabbit allergies. I'm really hoping this is the case, because I love my new little friend. :)

So, can anyone confirm/deny this as a symptom of human allergies to a rabbit?

Sounds like Tinea to me.

(On your hands or other body parts they call it school sores or foot and mouth)

Ask the chemist or doctor.
Reply:Well...........It is a symptom.

Have a nice time.
